The three artists whose work is featured on this site began exhibiting together as part of The Bay of Islands Group of Five (from 2002 to 2007).Since then, we have continued to support each others creative endeavours. We have developed a strong artistic presence locally (the north shore of Lake Huron and Manitoulin Island) and further afield. Both individually and collectively,we have exhibited at many events and venues. Our paintings have found homes all across Canada, the United States and Europe.

2011 PASTEL ARTISTS CANADA"Purely Pastel"20th Annual Open Juried Exhibition
September 26 - October 16, 2011
Kathy received a 2nd place award for "Moose Lake"
The show is at the Neilson Park Creative Centre in Etobicoke, Ontario. The exhibition will be juried by Canada's noted pastellist Horace Champagne and will include many exciting prizes donated by pastel suppliers, in addition to the Ursula Reese Grand Prize of $500.

The show runs from September 10th to October 8th. 18th Annual Heritage Alive Juried Art Show Kathy entered the 18th Annual Heritage Alive Juried Art Show and won 1st Prize in Drawing for "Elegance", and Honourable Mention in Pastel for "Listen To The Waves".

17th Annual Manitoulin Art Tour
This was a 3 day self-guided artists' studio tour which included photographers, painters, sculptors, potters and more from across Manitoulin Island. It ran from July 15th to 17th, 2011.Kathy and Beth participated in the Tour. Beth was situated at Perivale Art Gallery, in Spring Bay, and Kathy at The Anchor Inn in Little Current.
34th Annual La Cloche Art Show Kathy and Beth both had work accepted into the 34th Annual La Cloche (juried) Art Show (July 1 to 10, 2011).
Kathy won Honourable Mention in Drawing for "Remembering Kate".
RBC "Art Impact" Juried Art Show Of the over 300 entries Kathy and Beth both had a piece accepted.
The Exhibit was on display from June 8, 2011 to June 30, 2011 at Tom Davies Square, and Vale Living with Lakes Centre in Sudbury, Ontario
